GENUINE FRENCH ART DECO GLASS CHANDELIER - Ref 02714

by  Marius-Ernest SABINO (Paris)

France, 1930s

Large chandelier with 3 rows of palmettes

The frame is made of chrome metal. The rows are made up of 20, 16 and 10 palmettes, for a total of 46

These are in molded-pressed glass with geometric decoration

They are completed by a central bowl which rests on the bottom chromed metal circle.

It opens so that you can change the bulbs when necessary

It is held in the closed position by a metal rod which you can see in the photos.

The chrome chain is in its original dimensions. It is possible to reduce or remove it

The electrical wiring is made up of 8 sockets on which you can mount your bulbs

We recommend the use of LED bulbs which will allow you to choose the warmth of the light.

This chandelier is completely authentic

The glassware shows some imperfections (small closed bubbles and a glass thread) in places due to the technique of the time

This glassware is in excellent original condition which is exceptional

The chrome frame shows some minor wear due to the century since it was manufactured

Each palmette is signed "Sabino Paris" or Sabino France" in the mold

The center bowl is not

The frame's hanging ring is stamped "Sabino Paris" on a side and "Made in France" on the other side

Full height : 39.4"(100cm), Height without chain : 25.6"(65cm)
