Jean NOVERDY

In the 1920s, Jean Noverdy, a student of Mr. Dubret, creates art glass in his own glassworks located in Dijon, 17, Place Bossuet. To make the best use of electrical lighting, he creates lamps with shades the most often made ​​of glass with two layers between which he pulverizes colored enamels to give a marmoreal look. Molded glass vases and shades are also a part of his production. The same techniques used by Daum Frères, André Delatte and Muller Freres in this period. He also created acid-etched vases and shades in the style of the school of Nancy.

Between 1926 and 1928, he is present at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français in Paris.
