Jean-Boris Lacroix truly began his career in 1920 when he entered the workshop of Paul Dumas. He completed his formation by working as a drawer for the fashion designer, Madeleine Vionnet.

He created for her, from 1925 to 1930, the design of her various houses. In this period, he met and worked with J. M.
