In 1929, they opened a prestigious shop on the famous Place des Vosges in the heart of the capital.
Hettier-Vincent was the top end of the market offering their lamps to the Parisian upper-class.
Their bases and fixtures were made of bronze or wrought iron. The shades were made by the greatest French glassworks in this period. The molded glass shades the most often from Holophane (Les Andelys) that produced its own art glass pieces under the Verlys and Des Hanots signatures. The mottled and acid-etched glass shades were the most often made by Muller Freres and the crystal shades by the Cristalleries de Baccarat.
