STUDIO LAMP by Bernard Albin GRAS France, 1921 STEEL & ALUMINUM ATELIER GRAS Perfect balance between form and function, which made it to Le Corbusier's favorite lamp and it was used in many interiors built by Le Corbusier in the 30's. Others such as Robert Mallet-Stevens, Jacques Emile Ruhlmann and Eileen Gray followed this trend as well. Furthermore, such well-know artists as Sonia Delaunay and Georges Braque also used these lamps in their studios. For the first time in history, a lamp was equally popular in professional as well as in residential applications. Can be found in Germany with members of Bauhaus.
